The purpose of the compact beam expander is to increase the diameter of a collimated input beam into a larger collimated output beam. The compact Galilean type beam expanders are available for wavelengths of 1064 nm, 532 nm and 355 nm. The compact beam expander allows the divergence angle of the input beam to be adjusted to produce a collimated, divergent or focused beam at the output.
